There are two possible ways to share course elements:

If you want to share specific course elements you can use Direct Share.

Direct Share lets you select a specific page, assignment, module, quiz or discussion and sends it to a colleague of your choice.

Here you can find an instruction on how to share an assignment to another instructor using Direct Share. Links to an external site. This works identical for pages, modules, quizzes or discussions.

Here you can find information about how to manage the content that has been shared with you Links to an external site..

Please note:

  • There is no Sent inbox with your shared content, therefore it is not possible to see which content you have sent to a colleague. Make sure you send it to the right colleague.
  • Direct share is only accessible for teachers that login to Canvas with their VU credentials.
