Classroom studios
VU Amsterdam has a number of so-called Classroom studios. These are small classrooms that contain a good microphone, a webcam and two big computer screens. These rooms can be used for 2 types of education:
- Recording a knowledge clip or pre-recorded lecture. You can upload this video to Canvas so students can watch it asynchronous.
- Streaming your lecture live via Zoom and record it at the same time.
The way to do this #1:
Get used to the technology before you start, especially when giving a live lecture. Practice beforehand.
