-Use keyboard shortcuts. They speed up your workflow and reduce the risk of RSI.
-Be sparing with effects between clips. Usually a hard transition between fragments in your video works just fine. Fading out and in may imply a jump in time and could confuse your viewer. On TV or in movies you seldomly see the use of effects between clips.
-Try not to be too precise. Editing video perfectly can become time consuming. Your viewer focuses on the content of your video and does not always notice your little editing imperfections.

My computer is Managed by IT, can I still use Kdenlive?
The IT department recently added a Kdenlive package to the standard software on "green" and "orange" managed Windows computers. Use the Search bar to find the software.
Viewing my edits or changes in the software works very slow, what can I do?
On the bottom left of your Project Monitor part of the screen, you can change the resolution of the preview video. For most computers 540p should work well.
